Overview
For this unique event, my former creative partner, Ido Ramon, and I collaborated on a highly customized projection mapping installation. The project was designed to celebrate the career and personal milestones of a renowned lawyer, transforming key moments from his life into beautifully animated scenes

Concept & Execution
To create a visually striking experience, we hired a professional illustrator who crafted custom characters based on real-life individuals from the lawyer’s journey. These illustrations were then brought to life through animation, seamlessly transitioning between different chapters of his career.
We utilized Cinema 4D to design and animate complex 3D elements, adding depth and realism to the projections. Adobe Illustrator played a key role in crafting the vector-based assets, ensuring sharp and scalable visuals for high-resolution output. The entire animation pipeline was finalized in Adobe After Effects, where we integrated dynamic transitions, motion graphics, and lighting effects to bring the scenes to life with cinematic fluidity.
One of the primary challenges was adapting the animation to a super-wide landscape format, ensuring that the visuals perfectly matched the proportions of the event hall. The result was a fully immersive display that enveloped the guests in a cinematic retelling of the lawyer’s most cherished memories.

Enhancing the Event Experience
Beyond the main animation sequence, we expanded the visual storytelling with additional elements:
- Entrance Signage: A bespoke animated sign welcomed guests at the entrance, setting the stage for the grand experience inside.
- Hallway Projections: To maintain a cohesive atmosphere, we added subtle visual projections throughout the hall, syncing them with the music and overall theme of the evening.
- Interactive Visuals: Certain projections responded to the ambient lighting and movement, making the space feel dynamic and alive.
- Custom Motion Graphics: Animated overlays and typography were designed in After Effects, adding additional narrative context to key scenes.

The Final Impact
The combination of carefully crafted animation, large-scale projection mapping, and additional immersive elements resulted in an unforgettable event. The lawyer and his guests were deeply moved by the storytelling and the seamless integration of visuals with the environment.
This project exemplifies the power of projection mapping as a storytelling tool, demonstrating how digital art can elevate personal narratives into breathtaking experiences.
